COURAGE. VICTORY. FREEDOM.

"I have questioned how God could ever use someone like me to make a difference

in the world when I have had such a pitiful past.

But God says He will use all things for good.

The problem was that the victim in me was interfering with God's trying to bring the good out of my pain.

I have since learned inspiring courage versus fostering victimization in the lives of others

is what will change our communities, families, and nation for good."

- Tonya Shellnutt,

speaker and author of Wounded and Defined

Tonya Shellnutt

In Wounded and Defined: Trading Victim For Victory, Tonya Shellnutt shares her very personal and intimate journey of pain to providence, confusion to clarity, and fear to faith, addressing three major areas to effectively rise above the current state of the world.

  • Decide to no longer take part in cultivating an environment of victimization.
  • Define yourself by the power of Jesus Christ, not the wounds of your past.
  • Devote your life to inspiring others by expressing courage, not capitulating to culture.
